Occasionally we'll have a quick question about a transaction — we'll reach out by email and it typically takes just a few seconds of your time to answer. Other than that, your monthly bookkeeping is completely hands-off for you.

How is your monthly bookkeeping service different from QuickBooks doing it automatically?

QuickBooks Online can auto-categorize transactions based on past patterns, but it makes mistakes — sometimes frequently — and it cannot reconcile your accounts against your actual bank statements. Auto-categorization is a starting point, not a finished product. Our service means a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor reviews every transaction with professional judgment, corrects auto-categorization errors, and reconciles every account so your books are genuinely accurate — not just populated with software guesses.

When will my books be finished each month?

We complete monthly bookkeeping and deliver your financial reports within the first two weeks of the following month once all your bank and credit card statements are available. You'll receive a notification when your reports are ready and can review them any time through QuickBooks Online.

What if my books are already months behind — can you still help?

Absolutely. If you're behind on bookkeeping, we start with a QuickBooks cleanup and catch-up service to get your books current, then transition into ongoing monthly bookkeeping once everything is up to date. Many of our clients come to us months or even years behind — getting caught up is one of our specialties.

Do you do taxes as part of this service?

No — we are a bookkeeping-only firm. We don't prepare tax returns. What we do is keep your books clean, accurate, and organized all year long so that when tax season arrives, your CPA or tax preparer has everything they need and your filing goes smoothly.
